Vincent grew up in a rural part of South Africa, where getting to school meant waking up at 3 a.m. and riding buses for hours each day. He was determined to change the path ahead, for himself and his family, through education. That drive carried him to university.
But without guidance and financial support, the way forward was unclear. Vincent’s selection as a Dell Young Leader in 2013 provided him with more than just funding – it connected him to career advising, industry exposure, essential resources, and personal support that helped him navigate university and plan for what came next. “The first laptop I ever owned came from Dell Young Leaders,” he says. “That became my gateway to learning, connection, and opportunity.”

Turning Opportunity into Impact
After graduating with a degree in investment banking, Vincent began his career in consulting at Accenture in South Africa, where he was named a Rising Star for his exceptional work. That success paved the way for a global move; today, he is a strategy manager at Monitor Deloitte in New York.
At Deloitte, Vincent leads strategy projects for Fortune 500 clients — building go-to-market plans and operating models that help companies grow and adapt. His work spans high tech, financial services, oil and gas, and includes efforts in sports, music, and social impact.
